New tweet from Immi..
"Remember I tweeted about an idea I had on the plane a few days ago? http://bookofheap.blogspot.com/ xxx"
"I’ve never before thought about publishing a book or thoughts or anything but literally just now, that opening line “I feel like now’s a good time to start writing a diary” - looking along the line of the artfully flexing left wing – came to my mind and it then evolved swiftly into something that wanted to exist, not just in my mind but out there with you."

05 Jan 2009 -- The Song That Never Was ... download, remix, donate
From Imogen's official site:
'The Song That Never Was' - remix, download, donate - 12.02.09
Today Imogen takes part in a worldwide charity event where 175+ cities around the world will be hosting Twestivals which bring together Twitter communities for an evening of fun and to raise money and awareness for charity: water.
Hundreds of artists have donated tracks to Twestival.fm - a global online music project in association with Twestival aiming to raise an additional $20,000 USD for charity. All donated tracks are available to stream and download for free via the Twestival.fm player (powered by SoundCloud). and visitors are asked to leave a voluntary donation or ‘tip’ (using Tipjoy) in a Radiohead-style ‘pay what you want’ manner. All tips will be given in full to charity: water and the most generous tippers are listed on the site.
Imogen has decided to buck the trend and dontate the raw vocals parts to 'the song that never was' - a song she wrote for a television program, which for one reason or another was not used in the end. Immi wants you to download the parts and add your own musical interpretation. You can then upload your mix to her SoundCloud Dropbox and put the best efforts up for everyone to listen to and enjoy.
Here's what Immi had to say:
"Hellooo! Dying to hear what you lot get up to with this song. It was for a kids film, so quite different from my other stuff but still I really like it and want it to live and dance about in your brains and on your fingertips. You can use anything from the whole song as is to one nanosecond of a waveform of my breath. Have fun with it!"

Here's what Immi had to say: "It'll be tough switching between studio mode and live mode and getting my head round a couple of new songs/bits of gear. But I'm so excited and honoured to have been asked to play. I know I'm going to meet some amazing people and hear some incredible ideas and will come back totally inspired."
